Lavendar Links

Second place for naming goes to Misfit Mom with “Lavendar Links.”

This photo deserves some sort of explanation. It was taken on Palatine Hill in Rome; one of the most ancient parts of the city. Rome’s first emperor, Augustus, lived in a palace on this same hill and remnants of his grandiose living quarters still remain. Fountains were found throughout the palace, but instead of water, these ancient water centerpieces have been filled with lavender and blue flowers.
