Back in January, Karen at KKH Photos awarded me The Versatile Blogger Award! Being the lame, workaholic, can’t-say-no-to-anything human being that I am, I’m just now getting to this post. Two and a half months later. Better late than never…right?

First, I want to thank Karen for recognizing me for this award. My blog has certainly had its ups and downs; or maybe I should say I have had my ups and downs, but it’s nice to know some of you are enjoying The Suburban Misfit! Second, I wanted to let you know that I’ve never done a blogger award with rules before! I’ve been doing some reading, and some bloggers hate them and some love them. I think this award is a great opportunity to tell other bloggers how much you appreciate their posts, but I won’t be offended if you disagree.

What IS The Versatile Blogger Award?

This award is given by bloggers to other bloggers. That’s really it. It’s a way to recognize and appreciate the blogs you read frequently and love. The VBA rules state that recipients must:

1. I did competitive debate in high school, which means I can argue both sides of pretty much any topic

3. I wore glasses as a child, but have 20/20 vision as an adult. (Dear childhood eye doctor…if you’re reading this, I want my money back!)
4. I have never broken a bone (knock on wood)

6. My Stronger Half and I went to high school together and have 142 mutual friends on Facebook
